A glass door connects the museum with Ulrich Körting's workshop. This allows visitors to watch the potter at work and catch a glimpse of the »living workshop«, where the former palace kitchen was once located. Following in the tradition of his parents Heiner-Hans and Lisa Körting, Ulrich Körting produces, among other things, the popular ceramic animal classics, such as the rotating-head owls.

Körting also produces a large number of his own ceramics, and the workshop is always worth a visit. The Körting owl and other ceramic animals are also available in our museum shop.
