Directions
Arriving by Coach:
Please note that there is no direct access via Jenaer Straße (exit from B88 in the Saale valley) for vehicles exceeding a maximum permissible total weight of 3.5 tons.
Larger coaches must use the following routes, depending on which direction you are coming from:
• From Jena/Weimar: take the B7 to Isserstedt, then turn off towards Apolda and proceed to Dornburg via Vierzehnheiligen, Krippendorf, Altengönna, Lehesten, Nerkewitz, Stiebritz, Zimmern.
• From Camburg on the B88: follow the detour signs

Arriving by Train:
Take the regional train to the station »Dornburg/Saale« (located at the base of the Dornburg Castles), continue on foot by following the signs up the hill for 15 min. (partly via stairs). There are lights along the path at night.
